How it works
A soothing gel to calm irritated skin, relieve itching & reduce inflammation
Contains powerful antimicrobial Apple cider vinegar & Manuka honey to reduce harmful bacteria
Neem leaf extract & Aloe vera leaf extract promote skin healing
This fast-acting gel contains powerful natural ingredients that work to reduce inflammation, calm irritated skin, relieve itching, reduce bacteria and heal wounded skin.
A study into Apple cider vinegar confirmed its antimicrobial properties and how it can reduce the impact of harmful bacteria on the skin. [1]
High-strength Manuka honey – made by bees collecting nectar from New Zealand Manuka bushes – contains the active ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO), which has an antimicrobial [2] and also anti-bacterial effect on the body, according to a 2018 study by Ulster University. [3]
In a 2009 German and New Zealand study, researchers suggested honey could speed up the healing process in skin because: [4]
- honey stimulates the inflammatory response in the body, leading to the regeneration of skin cells and connective tissues
- the pH level of honey is very low, which reduces infection
Neem packs over 140 active compounds that may give it numerous antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Neem leaf extract accelerates wound healing through an increased inflammatory response and the formation of new blood vessels. [5]
Aloe vera’s soothing, moisturising and cooling properties have proven effective for burn wound healing. [6] A small 2014 study found that a cream combining conventional acne medication with aloe vera gel was significantly more effective than acne medication alone or a placebo in treating mild to moderate acne. [7]
Witch hazel (Hamamelis virginiana) is a shrub that’s indigenous to the United States and has been used for centuries by Native Americans as a remedy for a variety of skin ailments related to irritation and inflammation. [8]
