The number on the front of the pot represents the mg per kg of MGO (Methylglyoxal) and the related strength of Antimicrobial Activity, which is known to kill certain types of bacteria. The greater the number, the stronger the Antimicrobial Activity.
MGO in Mānuka honey is naturally made in the hive from DHA which is present in the nectar of the Manuka Bush. Within the hive DHA undergoes the Maillard reaction to naturally form MGO.

Is 30 MGO the right strength of Manuka Honey for me?
30 MGO Manuka Honey is the lowest MGO rating we sell. It is ideal for customers who are new to Manuka Honey and want to see if they enjoy the taste of the honey.
This lower MGO rating is ideal for use in porridge, spread on your toast or even as a DIY Manuka Face Mask.
What are the benefits of 30 MGO Manuka Honey?
30 MGO is at the lowest end of our MGO rating so does have the lowest antimicrobial activity. A spoonful of 30 MGO Manuka though could still help make a delicious soothing warm drink, ideal for when you have a cough or sore throat.

What’s the best time of day to take 30 MGO manuka honey?
Most people like to start their day with one to two teaspoons of 30 MGO Manuka for a daily boost. It’s also great added to your breakfast either on cereals, toast, smoothies or hot drinks.

Calculation of Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are based on the grand total of your order. If you apply a discount code or loyalty credit your total may change and shipping costs will be recalculated.
Failed Deliveries
If the delivery of your order cannot be completed and it is returned to our warehouse we will contact you to offer two options for your order:
(i) We will re-arrange delivery of your order but you will be required to pay a £3.50 resend fee before the parcel is resent.
(ii) We will refund your order less the £4.00 shipping fee.
Please see clause 8 of the Terms and Conditions of Supply for more information.
Returns
1. If you change your mind and don’t want the Product within 14 days of its delivery to you, your rights to cancel are set out at clause 11 of our Terms and Conditions of Supply. Please note to be eligible for a refund the Product must be unopened, in its original packaging and sealed. We will only be obliged to process any refund due once we have received the Product back from you.
If you are returning your order because you have changed your mind then:
You are responsible for the cost of return postage of the items.
2. If you discover that the Product is faulty or not of satisfactory quality within 30 days of the Product being delivered or us delivering the Product you may also be entitled to a refund or exchange in accordance with clause 11.9 of our Terms and Conditions of Supply.
3. Ensure that if you do want to cancel a contract you follow the cancellation procedure at clause 11 of the Terms and Conditions of Supply. Failure to do so may result in a delay in any refund being processed.
