Good Housekeeping Approved
Last year our Manuka Doctor Eye Cream went through thorough testing at the world leading Good Housekeeping Institute (GHI), with amazing results.
“With clear instructions and easy-to-use packaging, most testers found this product easy to apply. 94% thought that the cream was easy to distribute evenly around the eye area and they were pleasantly surprised with how quickly the cream absorbed into the skin, leaving no greasy or sticky residue. 83% said skin felt much more moisturised after using the product and 69% said skin felt firmer after the trial period.”
Now, our Eye Cream has been honoured with the title of ‘Best Eye Cream for Refreshing Eyes’!
“Claiming to boost collagen levels and stimulate elastin reproduction, this innovative cream features purified bee venom to help firm and plump up skin. Its non-greasy formula absorbed in a flash to refresh and brighten under eyes. Everyone found it soothing and hydrating, resulting in instantly reduced puffiness.” GHI
Th GHI has been rigorously testing products since 1900, from the longest lasting lipstick to the safest baby product! The GHI’s powerhouse team of engineers, scientists, analysts, and product experts test consumer products so that we can rest assured we're not wasting our money on poor quality items. Products are tested for safety, quality, and value, using state-of-the-art consumer testing methods.
Firstly, products are tested in the GHI labs by evaluating safety and quality claims. Then products are sent out to select readers to understand how they actually work in the real world. Only, after all that do they deliver their recommendations of approved products.
In this instance, The GHI tested the performance of 21 anti-wrinkle and dark circle eye creams using a VISIA Complexion Analyser, to assess the number of fine lines/wrinkles and intensity. Then over 430 of their at-home testers helped to assess the properties of the creams, such as texture, packaging and whether they made any visible difference to the skin after 28 days.
How it works
Thanks to the highly moisturising properties of Mānuka honey, this best-selling eye cream hydrates and soothes dry, tired eyes
Collagen boosting Purified Bee Venom (PBV™) helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
A flavonoid found in citrus fruits stimulates surface circulation of skin to improve dark circles under the eyes, helping to lift a dull complexion and refresh tired skin
Botanical silicon and oak skin tautening tannins are clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and fine lines
An advanced Octapeptide is clinically proven to reduce the depth of deep wrinkles around the forehead and eye area
Why it works
Research has proven that Purified Bee Venom (PBV™) works on all levels of the skin to encourage naturally occurring cell regeneration, boost collagen formation increasing skin’s elasticity and accelerate the recovery of damaged skin cells.

Awards
It’s not only the GHI that put beauty products to the test with real people, REAL BEAUTY Testers are an independent group of dedicated testers trying all things beauty in a ‘real’ world context.
REAL BEAUTY Tester Hannah, from London awarded our Manuka Doctor Eye Cream 5/5 after a two-week test and review.
“The best eye creams are often hard to come by. But this REAL BEAUTY Tester gave this amazing tube, which helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, a 5 star thumbs up” The REAL BEAUTY Team.
“This cream feels wonderful on, not too heavy and didn't cause any issues for my sensitive eyes. It has minimised my dark circles and moisturised the under-eye area well. It is smooth and just the right consistency for my delicate under eye skin. It is not heavily perfumed but has a clean scent. People even commented that I looked bright eyed. It is better than other eye creams I have tried and it is a reasonable price.” REAL BEAUTY Tester, Hannah, London
This is not the first time our Eye Cream has beaten more expensive eye creams. In a trial by The Sun’s Laura Stott, the Manuka Doctor Eye Cream beat another cream 20 times the price. With one of the testers claiming “I preferred Manuka Doctor’s cream which also contains honey. It felt comforting and gentle around the eyes.”
